Privacy Policy

The app

The AFS Paper Pilot mobile application does not collect, store, or share any personal information or data from its users. Because we do not collect any data in the app, we do not share any app data with third parties.

The beta signup form

This website has one form: the beta tester signup on the app page. If you choose to use it, it collects the email address you enter and which platform you selected (Android or iOS).

That information is used to give you access to the test, to email you the join links (Android), and to let you know when the app is available or launches. It is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or added to any marketing list.

The form sends your email and platform to a private Google Sheet that only the developer can see, via Google Apps Script, and Android invite emails are sent from the developer’s Gmail account. This is covered by Google’s privacy policy. If you join the Android test, Google Groups and Google Play also see your address, and if you join an iOS test later, Apple sees it under Apple’s privacy policy. No one else receives it.

Tester email addresses are kept until the app launches and you’ve been told about it, then deleted. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time.

Everything else on this site

The rest of the site is static pages and printable PDFs. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by this site. Embedded YouTube videos are loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies unless you play a video; a video you play is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Children

The app and this site are suitable for all ages, but the beta programme is intended for adults. Please do not submit a child’s email address to the signup form.
